Attestation & Legalization Terms and Conditions

  • The Attestation & Legalization process will be completed within the timeframe specified in the quotation. However, the timeline may vary depending on government regulations, embassy procedures, university verification requirements, prevailing crises or circumstances in Sri Lanka, or any other valid legal reasons.
  • All payments must be settled before we initiate the process on our end. Payments can be made by bank wire transfer or card payment. The payment confirmation, credit advice, or payment slip should be emailed to us promptly to confirm the order.
  • The certificate owner (client) must submit all required original documents for attestation at MoFA and the relevant embassies. However, embassies, MoFA, universities, or other relevant authorities may request additional documents during processing. The client must cooperate and provide any required original or scanned documents promptly to avoid delays.
  • Clients must submit the original hard copies required for Attestation and Legalization purposes. Scanned copies of all documents should also be emailed to us properly before dispatching the hard copies to Sri Lanka.
  • Hard copies must be couriered via DHL or another reliable courier service to our Colombo 04 office. The courier waybill/tracking number should be forwarded to us to enable tracking at Flyrich’s end.
  • Attestation and Legalization services will be carried out under the docsLegi service provider brand.
  • If the client fails to submit the required original documents, no refund will be applicable. Flyrich reserves the right to take appropriate action if any forged, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid documents are discovered.
  • If MoFA, the embassy, university, or other relevant authority refuses to certify or legalize the documents for reasons beyond Flyrich’s control, a refund of up to 50% of the service fee may be provided, depending on the stage of processing, work already completed, government or embassy charges incurred, courier expenses, verification costs, and other non-recoverable expenses. The applicable refund amount will be determined based on the circumstances of the individual case. Valid reasons for refusal will be communicated to the client. Where permitted by the relevant authority, the client may submit additional documents or information to continue the attestation or legalization process.
  • The validity period of the quotation is 30 days only. If the client confirms the order after this period, the quotation will be considered null and void in accordance with Flyrich’s policy. A new quotation will then be issued based on the prevailing MoFA and embassy regulations, applicable fees, and prevailing conditions in Sri Lanka.
  • Document verification charges will apply if any documents require verification by the embassy, university, MoFA, or any other relevant authority. Such charges will be communicated to the client where applicable.
  • Clients are requested to contact us via email or phone regarding their assignments. Our team will respond within 2 working days.
  • Hard copies and final attested/legalized documents will be couriered to the client’s provided address free of charge and are expected to arrive within 3–14 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on government regulations, courier operations, customs requirements, and the destination country.
